Ramsons Kalapratishtana, founded in 1995 by Sri
Ram Singh, is a service oriented non-profit institution,
which aims at promoing art and artists by means of presenting
awards, conducting seminars and workshops, honouring
people who have rendered invaluable service to art holding
exhibitions, lectures and demonstrations and fecilitating
research in lesser known art forms.

a. Shilpashree Awards
EstablIshed in 1995 and has since been awarding
prizes for notable handicraft products of the highest
artistic merit. The best entry in the National Level
Competition gets the 'Shilpashree Award' along with
Rs. 25,000/ cash priz' and a bronze statuette.
Since
1995, five artisans from different states including
Karnataka were awarded 'Shilpashree', and 37 various
craftsmen have been honoured with 'Kala Prashasthl'
and 'Kala Puraskar'. The sum total of the prize money
amounts to Rs. 2,87,500/ .

senior craftspersons who have aided the development
of craft forns and rendered distinguished services in
the promotion of handicrafts have been recognised and
felicitated with 'Kala Sanman'
More
than 275 Object de' Art have been handcrafted for the
'Shilpashree Awards' in different media like, metal,
stone, wood, etc.
